Charcoal Smoker Grills

November 17th, 2011 by The Rib under Grills, Smoking Ribs

Charcoal Smoker Grills are a staple around most homes across the United States. There is nothing like driving home on a lovely evening and smelling the neighborhood grills and all the great food smells there are, except maybe the smell of freshly mowed grass. At my house we are using an old reliable gas grill which must be close to twenty years of age. It has lava rocks if you remember them. I have been thinking that it must be time to look at getting something new. As often as possible dinner and sometimes lunch, was and is still cooked on this Charcoal Smoker Grills. There is nothing like a good steak, or chicken with some vegetables off the grill. Having burned my share of barbecued lunch and dinners, the information I am accumulating about charcoal smoker grills make them sound appealing. There might be something good about a grill I do not have to spend a lot of time around.

The research on smoker grills I have done so far has overwhelmed me with styles and types and size and color and costs. I have no idea what I am going to do about a new grill, but so far a few have sparked my interest and will need some more research. One grill I have looked into however and it may fit the bill. The Brinkmann SmokeN Grill, appears to be a single charcoal smoker grills. Apparently it does both regular charcoal grilling and functions as a charcoal smoker grills as well.

ThisĀ Charcoal Smoker Grills seems to work great for picnicking and tailgating. It apparently works great at beach cookouts too, where rolling a conventional grill from a car to a cook site would be too much of a hassle. It has a cooking capacity for ribs, brisket, chicken or fish. It comes with wood handles so it does not get too hot to hold and it has a porcelain-coated water and charcoal pans. Descriptions say it is a slow-cooked barbecue and it produces authentic smokehouse flavor while being a portable charcoal smoker grills. It weights about 15 pounds and as previously stated it works great for picnicking, tailgating, and beach cookouts and my favorite camping. The unit has a domed lid, with a spacious interior, and a chrome-plated steel cooking grill that can hold up to 25 pounds of food.

Other highlights apparently include porcelain-coated steel water and charcoal pans, wooden handles that stay cool to the touch, and it even has an easy-to-clean design. I think I like this one so far but the research will continue. There appears to be so many available that picking the best will take some time.
